This Canadian-made canvas is 1% pure cotton stretched on 1½″ deep basswood stretcher bars. It features 7 oz (237 gsm) canvas, primed to a finished weight of 1 oz (328-385 gsm). Shrink wrapping ensures a clean canvas for your next creation.
The surface is specially primed for Opus with two coats of acrylic gesso to provide superior results in acrylic painting. For oil painting, we recommend a minimum of two or more coats of gesso for optimum results.
